Ed Balls calls for Salmond meeting A proficient leader honours the team and puts 10s on their foreheads. King Solomon spoke delightful words that honoured and lifted up his bride. Many scholars believe his song is actually a metaphor for his people. President Obama and family public service also gives a beautiful picture about how to communicate honour from the heart. How can we best communicate compliments to those we lead? 1. Make them sincere. Be genuine and authentic about what you say. 2. Make them specific. Get very contented and detailed about what you say. Transparent communication. 3. Make them public. Declare these honouring words in front of others. 4. Make them personal. Be personal about what you say. Whenever I see my staff, I put an imaginary "10" on the forehead of each individual. This helps me treat all like a "10", a high percentage who makes difference to me and CREATES Limited Group. Inevitably, they respond as if they are "10." If you do not already do this, why not start today? Put "10" on the people that you lead. Treat them based on their potentials, not their performance. You'd be amazed about the results.
